The Settembrini school in Milan

Three schools should have attended our information meeting. But one had cancelled the agreement and another just didn’t show up.

The principal and the teachers at Settembrini became very excited about the project and – in the Italian way – discussed the project with great enthusiasm and many gests. The school arranged for us to visit another school the same afternoon. This school was the Maxwell school.

The students seemed fond of their schooldays and were crazy about being taken photos of.

The workshops were well-supplied with various equipment fx diesel pump tester, heating systems, pull and push machines etc. The teachers seemed to have solid theoretical knowledge but had to cover a large scale of different subjects.

The teachers team at Settembrini were used to co-operate and we sensed that they had a very good relationship to each other. Andrea at the pictures above and to the right teaches both in auto mechanics, manifacturing mechanics, and AutoCad drawing and is at the same time IT-responsible. Rejsedagbog-11_01.jpg (10144 bytes)

We got a very positive impression of the school and its enthusiastic and welcoming teachers. Therefore, the school was bound to be a partner in the Global Village project.
