Later that day, we visited the company Milloslav Zemek in Dvur Kralove. He is sub-supplier to the Danish company Gram Equipment. Gram wishes to improve the electronic communication with Zemek.

Charlotte Mortensen from itai could therefore answer some of Zemek’s IT-questions. First step for him was to be able to excto be able to use the concept of Global Village exchange technical drawings via e-mail. Next step was to use the concept of Global Village.

dag 6_zemek_vaerksted_2.jpg (14713 bytes) Zemek showed us his workshops where he started in 1992 with two tool boxes and an empty little room. Now he employs 18 people and 1/3 of his production goes to Gram Equipment. He expects to move to bigger and better facilities since he has lots of orders and no problem in getting qualified workers, due to the decline in larger Czech companies.
